A man is recovering after he was shot twice, his car was stolen, and more than $10,000 is missing, according to the Ville Platte Police Department.
The incident occurred on East Pine Street near South Chataignier Street in the early morning hours Sunday, Police Chief A. Perry Thomas said in a social media statement.
