Hundreds of law enforcement officers formed a procession through Baton Rouge Sunday afternoon, paying tribute to Caleb Eisworth, a decorated Baton Rouge Police officer who died earlier that morning from injuries sustained in a June crash involving a truck. Officials are now seeking the death penalty for the man responsible for the collision.
Morse, a close colleague who graduated from the police academy one year apart from Eisworth and was shot alongside him during a 2004 traffic stop, described him as a “family man, a sportsman, an LSU fan” and “just a wonderful guy.”
