Mardi Gras Day in New Orleans will look a bit different this year, as the city is changing times and routes for the Zulu and Rex parades because of severe weather forecasts.

The storied Zulu Social Aide & Pleasure Club's parade will roll on a shortened route starting at 7 a.m. — an hour earlier than normal — without marchers, bands or truck floats, according Darren Mire, Zulu's director of public relations.

Rex is also set to roll early at 9:30 a.m.

The New Orleans parades are set to roll on their traditional routes until Poydras Street, where they will turn and disband early.

Here are maps of the new routes.
