Jody Caraccioli as has been named as the next president and chief executive officer of Neighbors Federal Credit Union, Baton Rouge's largest credit union.
Neighbors announced Thursday that Caraccioli will take over leadership of the credit union in January 2027. He will replace current CEO Steve Webb, who is transitioning into retirement after a decade of leading the credit union.
Caraccioli, who has served as chief financial officer of Neighbors since 2008, said it is a "tremendous honor" to be selected as the next CEO.
"Neighbors has a long legacy of making a difference in the lives of the people and communities we serve, and I am excited to build on that foundation by driving sustainable growth, innovation and member value," he said in a statement.
Before being hired by Neighbors, Caraccioli was chief financial officer of KeyPoint Federal Credit Union.
Caraccioli earned a bachelor's in finance from Millsaps College and an executive master's in business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Neighbors has $1.3 billion in assets, according to the National Credit Union Administration, making it the second largest credit union in Louisiana. It has a dozen branches in metro Baton Rouge.
