The New Orleans Pelicans have added another player to their roster.

The Pelicans have agreed to 2-way deal with Bryce McGowens, according to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania.

McGowens, a 6-foot-7 shooting guard, is entering his fourth NBA season.

A second round pick out of Nebraska in 2022, McGowens spent two seasons with the Charlotte Hornets and this past season with the Portland Trail Blazers. He spent time on 2-way deals with both organizations.

He's averaged 4.8 points in the 118 NBA games he’s played in. He started 21 games in Charlotte. McGowens scored a career-best 22 points as a rookie in a Charlotte win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On his 2-way deal, McGowens will play with both the Pelicans and the G League affiliate Birmingham Squadron.

NBA teams are allowed to sign three players to 2-way deals. McGowens is the third player the Pelicans have signed to a 2-way deal.

They signed center Hunter Dickinson and guard Trey Alexander earlier this summer. The signing of McGowens came less than a week after the team waived Lester Quinones from his 2-way deal.
