Louisiana singer Jourdan Blue's next stop is "America's Got Talent's" Season 20 semifinals.
Meanwhile, Louisiana's Eyrie Dance and Tumbling dance team will return to the show on Tuesday night to vie for their spot in the semi-finals. Their precisely-executed energetic audition on July 8's "AGT" episode drew a standing ovation from the audience and show judges.
Blue, 23, of New Orleans, learned the news of his advancement during the NBC talent competition's results show on Wednesday night. He joins acts LightWire and Sirca Marea as the first three advancing contestants after the first installment of quarterfinals, which began on Aug. 19. It was the first live show of the season — as well as the first time America was able to vote for their favorites.
Blue wowed the crowd and judges that night with his performance of the Calum Scott hit, "Biblical." Jaws dropped when Blue confirmed that he was dealing with a stomach illness at the time.

New Orleans street performer Jourdan Blue has made it into 'America's Got Talent's' semi-finals, it was revealed during Wednesday night's results show.
"This means everything to me, and there wasn't anything that was going to hold me back from that," Blue said.
LightWire, founded in Brazil by two brothers, uses LED displays and light-up dance suits to create works of art.
Sirca Marea, a trapeze duo, includes Matias Cienfuegos of Spain and Micaela Leitner from Argentina.
Jourdan and the rest of the top 12 will return to compete Tuesday, Sept. 16, for one of seven spots in the finale.

New Orleans' EDT dance team has the audience in amazement during its 'America's Got Talent' audition.
For their July audition, 15 members of the EDT dance team, also of New Orleans, performed high-flying flips, death drops and a dynamic routine set to Ciara's “Level Up” and “APT” by Rose and Bruno Mars.
"I always hope every year that we're going to see an act where you go, 'That's as good as it's going to get,' and that is one of those auditions now, genuinely," judge Simon Cowell told the girls. "A lot of the younger acts are coming in here with real determination, which is fantastic for your life, by the way. If you really want something and are prepared to put the hours in to try and win, you will win, that's it. And I love that."
After Tuesday night's show, fans can vote for the dancers by visiting https://agt.vote.nbc.com/ or using the NBC app.
"AGT" airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday on NBC, and also streams on Peacock the following day.
