Baton Rouge Restaurant Week kicked off July 21, with over 50 restaurants offering limited edition, special, multi-course meals at a fixed, discounted price.
The goal of Restaurant Week is to boost the local dining scene during slower periods of the year, while also enticing diners to try new places in the city.
Diners can enjoy the summer iteration of Restaurant Week through July 26. During the week, each post on Instagram using the hashtag #eatbr will generate a $2 donation to the Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Foundation, Louisiana Hospitality Foundation and the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society.
Most Restaurant Week menus offer three options to choose from for an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
